The friends joining you in your golf games may have laughed on the way you haven’t at all improved your golf performance while taking the golf shots. But following the golf putting tips you will be able to achieve the best golf putts that have ever happened. You can rest assure that you will in no time join the others on the list of world greatest golfers, such as Ben Hogan, Nancy Lopez, Tiger Woods and others.

This is achievable as long as you maintain your putting skills and to reach this level you have to practice a lot. It is not the time any more for you to get bothered by the shots when you can take advantage with improving them in a matter of months or even better weeks.

Regardless of the type of putt, long or short, all you need is to have the best help from your golf friends who are experienced and even from the professionals. It will not last too much with acquiring these tips and once you know them you should start and assiduous practice and as such you will get the best results you have ever dared dreaming. The golf putting tips will guide you through the following area that have the role to improve your putts.

First to be able to obtain better golf putts you should have more practice on the short putts. For these you need to prove that you have good focus and this being made on higher levels.

The practice with the short putts will need many golf balls to have around and practice for a close distanced hole. Missing the one you have to try again and again and as such you will be able to obtain more mental concentration when it comes to golf putts. For instance Tiger Woods was able to see the shot even before it was made, that improved was his mental ability!

Next you can place a ball on top of a dime before striking. This is one very important golf putting tips and while making the stroke keep your eyes fixed on the dime. Try not to look where the ball if heading after the strike, just keep your eyes longer fixed on the dime when making shot putts.

When you practice putting it is preferred to do it with your eyes closed because in this way you can feel the body moves in an easier manner. As such you will get a more sense of how your shoulders work and are pendulous. Do not open the eyes unless you have heard the ball touching the bottom of the cup.

If you apply these golf putting tips on regular basis you will see that your golfing results will be more improved. Asking at the same time a golf swing coach to provide you with some golf putting tips is always the best way that works

The Ryder Cup is known to be a contest that takes place every two years between PGA Tours of United States and Europe. The Name of the cup comes from Samuel Ryder who was an English businessman as well as a golfer who sponsorship-ed in 1926 an international golf competition. While watching the competition he thought of making this event happen on regular basis.

Therefore he donated a gold trophy for one year later the trophy took his name and as such the first Ryder Cup Competition was officially opened and played in Massachusetts with teams to belong to USA and UK. USA dominated the Ryder Cup for many years and it was in 1979 when UK was extended to include also the rest of Europe into the competition, for the Cup to be held closer.

The teams consist of 12 players who have as a captain the more experienced golfer who belong to their respective country. Most of the teams members are chosen from the top golfers distinguished inside each tour except for the fatc that the captain is however allowed a number of picks. US captain, at present, has 4 selections while the European part only 2.

Generally speaking, Ryder Cup is held throughout the duration of 3 days with the following schedule: days 1 and 2 there are held 4 foursome matches and 4 fourball matches and it it the host team that gets to select ether it is foursome or fourballs in the morning or in the afternoon. A foursome match means a play of alternate shots with 2 players from each team and the players. Player number 1 of each team tees off, while player number 2 takes over the other shot and keeps on doing the same til the hole is full.

In the fourballs those 2 players are still present but this time they play their balls till the hole is full. Day number 3 sees the evolution of 12 singles matches. In order to win the trophy the number of points to reach at is 14 1/2 that gathers from 1 point for a win and 1/2 point if the match is drawn. All the matches are performed as matchplay to oppose to the one called stroke play.

Ryder Cup competition is very widely known in the world of golfers be they pros and only amateurs. It gathers each times the golf fans from all over the world booking their accommodation on time to have the opportunity to watch the spectacular games of the best in the field. The current holder of the trophy is USA team, but the European team has promised to have it back when the next competition of Ryder Cup will be held at Celtic Manor Golf Club in Wales.

Though many people assume golf originated from Scotland, there are various argument against this. Historians said that golf was derived from the paganica game. In paganica, the feather stuffed ball is hit with a curved stick by the player. The Romans invented paganica and introduce it to Britain. Some histories argued that golf is associated with a Dutch game called het kolven. They come into this conclusion after seeing the 18th century paintings that is drawn by Dutch painters. The Dutch paintings feature a game that resembles to the modern golf.

The term golf come a Scottish word called to gowff. To gowff means hit it hard in the Scottish language. The earliest evidence about golf is a manuscript written by King James II in 1457. In the manuscript, King James II mentions that football and golf should never be played in Scotland. King James doesn’t want its citizens to play football and golf because he did not want them to neglect the important sports such as archery. In 1502, King James IV set up the Treaty of Perpetual peace and allows the Scottish people to play golf in their free time. King James IV also had played the game.

Sometimes, Mary Queen of Scotland would play the game in her free time. The people like the game so much that they miss church attendance. After the Union of the Crowns was established in 1603, golf was introduced to Blackheath in London. Andrew Dickson from Edinburgh is the first caddy to carry a golf club. He works as a caddy for the Duke of York. In the early days, golf balls are made of wood. Later, people invented a handmade ball that is stuffed with feather was invented. In 1848, the gutta perca made from the juice of a tree in Malaya was made. By the 20th century, the golf balls made with tensioned rubber thread is introduced.

The rules in golf are fairly simple if you already know them, however explaining them could take a while. If you are not very familiar with the basics, the first thing you would need to know would be the main objective of the game: you have to hit the ball at the start or at the tee into the hole for every section in the course’s 18 sections or 18 holes.

The hole is located on the green, which is a piece of short and well-maintained grass. Once you are already on the green, you need to use your putter, which is the club that has a slab-like end, instead of your other normal clubs.

Every hole has a specified target number of shots to be done from the tee to the hole. This is called the par. For instance, if you are on a par 5 hole, you would need to get the ball from the tee to the hole in five shots or less. If you were able to do it with exactly the number of shots specified, then your score would be a par. If you did it in one less than the par, your score would be a birdie. If you did it in two less than the par, your score would be an eagle. Three below par would be called an albatross and the best score would be a hole in one, which happens if you were able to get the ball from the tee to the hole in one hit.

On the other hand, if you scored one more than the par then that would be a bogey. Two more than the par would be a double bogey. If you have tried for more that 12 shots, then you forfeit the hole. You would then have to move to the next hole.

Eventually, as you go through the game, there would be various hazards that you would have to deal with. If your ball lands on the rough, which is an area on the course that has long grass, you could find it difficult to move on from that area. There could also be trees on the rough of some courses, which could make them harder to get out of. The worst hazards would be the lakes and the ponds, because if you hit the ball into one, it would cost you the shot you took and another shot as a penalty, which would make it harder to reach par.
